Typical failure symptoms of a failed YSUS board are:
Unable to power on the TV when the board is connected; if disconnecting the board from the TV allows it to power on then you definitely need to replace it
TV powers on to black screen; sound is present (if TV is configured on an input with signal) and volume can be controlled and TV can be shut down. This gives 90% chance of this being the board that needs to be replaced.
TV powers on to flashing screen , approximately 1 Hz frequency (i.e. once every second). You can sometimes make out image between/behind the flashes, other times it is not possible. This also gives 90% chance of this being the board that needs to be serviced or replaced.
An open/blown fuse (OEM white ceramic fuse, 20 mm long, near the power connector) is a certain indicator of a failed sustain board. Fuses are like simple wires - they should have 0 resistance when functional and infinite resistance when blown/open. Do not bother replacing the fuse, it will not solve the problem - replace the board or have it serviced.
All board serviced by us come with a standard 90 days warranty of parts and labor. Customer is responsible for return shipping and Coppell TV Repair is responsible for shipping back to customer. Returned boards subject to exchange, service or refund, subject to availability and agreement by Coppell TV Repair and customer.
REQUIREMENTS FOR RECEIVING CREDIT FOR YOUR DUD MODULE
The returned module must arrive in good physical condition and without previous traces of repairs or tampering in order to qualify for the full advertised credit.
Modules that do not meed those criterias will be subjected to partial refund or no refund at all (depending on their condition and trade-in value).
